With the blessing of His Grace the Right Reverend Irinej (Dobrijevic), and archpriest Father Petar Petrovic, the work at Saint George Serbian Orthodox church in Cincinnati, OH started in 2021 and completed in November 2023. We started with wall murals in the dining hall, and then proceeded into the church building: the Nave, the Ceiling reconstruction and the Sacred Iconostasis.
The Church Nave hosts large panel icons of 12 major feasts, written on 2x4 foot wood panels, in acrylics. The walls are decorated with the byzantine decorations.

The Church hall murals consist of 7 archangels: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel (Salathiel), Jegudiel (Jehudiel), Barachiel, and the eighth, Jerahmeel (Jeremiel). Patron of the church, Saint George, Holy Theotokos and two saints: Saint Mardarije and Saint Sava. The large mural of the Last Summer is at the furtherst wall of the hall. See the murals here.
The church nave and hall in 2020 looked very different then it is now. Please, check out the photos here!
The Church reconstruction couldn't be possible without the numerous volunteers and the tremendous organizational efforts by Mirko Sebez, Father Petar and Victor Gerasimchuk.
