Anya is a fine artist, who currently works as a Sr. Director of User Experience Design at a Major Healthcare company. She has found her passion in Christian Orthodox Iconography, which was actually not a surprise.
In her formative years, while visiting with the holy elders at several famous pilgrimage monasteries in Russia, she was clairvoyantly suggested by one of the elders to write "Iconochki" (endearing name for Holy Icons). Only later has this come to life, after many years of learning and researching on how to approach this religious expression.
Victor is a musician by "trade", but now works as a software engineer, he has accumulated a plethora of wood working, and any handy-man skills. From making wood panels for icons, to engineering a new ceiling design for the church, Victor never shies away from a new challenge and can do it all.
On November 12th, 2023, Victor and Anya Gerasimchuk have received an honorable Grammation from the Bishop of Eastern America of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Irinej, for their dedicated service to church.
