Acrylic Frescos or Murals can be used on a variety of wall surfaces, is used by many iconographers today, but is less traditional then Al Secco.
This is the approach where natural pigments are mixed with Silicate medium to achieve an effect similar to wet plaster technique, but a lesser penetration into the wall. This is an approach used by many iconographers for church murals today, and that can withstand a more unstable temperature environments, comparing to Egg Tempera murals.
Iconostasis design, based on the interior of the Church, and the desire of the "customer", with one or several levels. The sketch can be provided on paper, or in the digital medium.
I follow Orthodox Church Liturgical Iconographic tradition for church frescos. If hired, and after preliminary discussion with the customer, I will first provide a colored-pencil paper sketch of murals design for each of the walls, to communicate the future work, and to make decisions on any necessary changes or adjustements.
