Icon Boards for Egg Tempera
Made in the traditional manner typically from poplar wood. (sometimes from other hard woods if available). Typical thickness is 1 inch (custom thickness from 1 to 1&3/4 inch may be available). Other custom dimensions may be available and have to be discussed as per availability. (max size currently available is 16x22). Any solid wood board includes cross grain oak braces to resist warping. Raised borders (kovcheg) of custom size available for solid boards, at an extra charge. Professional true gesso finish over 100% linen cloth is available at an extra charge.
